We began our collaboration with Mr. Vladimír Bayer in December 2024, when we initiated preparations to establish a spin-off company focused on leveraging advanced simulation tools to enhance machining efficiency. From the outset, Vladimír methodically took charge of key steps – under his leadership, there was clear definition of transferred know-how, preliminary consultations with potential customers were conducted, a market product was formulated, and a business strategy was designed. In all these activities, Vladimír actively engaged as both colleague and mentor, demonstrating deep understanding of the proposed product and its market potential. We benefited from his extensive network of contacts in both the manufacturing industry and ICT infrastructure sectors. Although the project ultimately had to be paused due to insufficient product readiness to deliver a scalable solution meeting user needs, the entire 17-month collaboration represents valuable experience for our team, which is already modifying our research methodologies. What we particularly appreciate about Vladimír is his ability to combine a friendly, informal approach with clear managerial leadership and strategic focus on achieving defined objectives.
